Sunday Funday
Today had many elements of fun – a log walk with hubby and doggo. Then taking dog to the dog park. I talked with my dad on FaceTime and enjoyed the cool weather and good food. Thank you for a lovely day!

Spirit Sunday
Last day of Winter Break. It was SO nice to have a two week period of time away from “day job” work. I say it that way because “a mother’s work is never done” – I certainly have been busy and working during break. Somehow T is able to just disengage and relax. Is mine

Prepping Next Week’s Routine Chart
Last week’s went well… Let’s try some more this coming week! New items have a “Why?” listed. All other items are things I’ve been doing here and there, and want to get more and more consistent with them. Of course, next week will be interesting because it’s back to work and school!

Welcoming Weekly Routines!
When there are required activities that occur on a regular basis, I like to think of these as routines. Rather than track them as one-off actions, I can get into a rhythm with them and do them more automatically. Here are my current “themes” and actions per day…

New Year, New You!
I’m actually not too sure about that, but I do know that I love the “Fresh Start” energy at this time of year. As I reflect on my own New Year’s Goals, I find they are arranging themselves nicely into FIVE distinct areas. I am sharing the outline here. This is a work in progress.

My 2026 Quality and Affirmation
Optimism! I am cultivating and radiating pure, calm, OPTIMISM – in my thoughts, in my words, and in my actions.

New Habit Kickoff! My process for onboarding when I want to try a new Routine…
What is the difference between a habit and a routine? In a nutshell, a habit is something we do automatically without having to consciously plan and think through. Whereas a routine is a process or series of steps that we have to think about and *try* to do with our conscious awareness. I have many
